How to change tab focus left to right
Hi,
I'm working with multiple files open and want to work logically from left to right, closing each file when I've made corrections to it. At the moment, as soon as I close the tab on the far left, oXygen automatically jumps to the very last tab to the far right of the screen. I would like it to simply move to the next tab to the one I've just closed (i.e. focus to move incrementally left to right).
I'm not sure of the right language to use to search for this in Help. How can I change this behaviour.
Many thanks,
Averill

Re: How to change tab focus left to right
Hello,
Unfortunately the current behavior is fixed and cannot be altered by an option. What Oxygen does now is to remember the order you've navigated the editor tabs. So, when you close the current editor, Oxygen repositions you to the editor you have previously visited.
I've logged a request to our issue tracking tool to add an option that allows for nearest tab selection after closing (e.g like a web browser).
A quick workaround for the current behavior is to select the editors in the reverse order that you want to close them (e.g. right to left) and then start closing them (left to right).
Regards,
Adrian
