delete a node

Post by ditatizer »

I have created a bookmap (mybookmap) then added a map(mainmapfile), finally I added some topics to mainmapfile in Oxygen 13.2.
Then, I accidently included mybookmap again (inside mainmapfile), making an illigal reference; however, I cannot delete the node. The structure looks like this.

Mybookmap
MainMapfile (this shows a yellow square in the node)
Mainmapfile
MyBookMap
MyBookmap (this shows a small yellow square in the node)

In the Dita Map Manager, the “X” is gray out when selecting the node that I need to delete (or the obe above it).
Any help is greatly appreciated

Hi,

The DITA Maps Manager can be used to edit only the current opened DITA Map. All referenced DITA Maps can indeed be expanded to see their content but they are not editable, they need to be opened separately, either in the DITA Maps Manager or in the main editor (as you did).

Regards,
