Image diff dialog background

I am diffing a lot of white images and with the white background in the image diff dialog this really is difficult. I couldn't find any color setting for that background and it would be great to be able to set that so I can see what I'm diffing.

Unfortunately the background color for the image diff cannot be changed.
I have logged this to our issue tracking tool to be resolved in a future version.

I brought this up last March and haven't seen any changes in releases since then so I thought I would bring it up again. When you diff white images there is not enough contrast with the diff window background for the diff to be of any use. If the background could be customized just like the editor windows this would be extremely helpful.

I've increased the priority of the issue.
This is currently scheduled for v15, but it could still be pushed further back.
