Lines too long

Hi all,

I am writing my diploma thesis using Oxygen XML Editor and in "text" mode, lines are simply too long. When I write, I would like the editor to automatically switch to the next line when I reach the "end of the page" if you know what I mean. Could anybody advice me how to fix this?

Hello,

What you want is to "wrap" the long lines and oXygen already has such an option. All you have to do is to go in Menu -> Options -> Preferences in oXygen. Then navigate to Editor -> Edit modes -> Text and make sure to have "Line wrap" option checked.
That will not alter the document content, as the application does not use newline characters to break long lines, so you should not worry about that.
