I couldn't find any information on how to switch off the warning dialog:

This operation is taking a long time.
Do you want to continue?

Maybe you could help me with that?
It seems that the calculation in the background stops when the dialog is open. A possible solution would also be that the calculation keeps running as the dialog is visible.

Hello,

Unfortunately that dialog can't be switched off. It's meant to protect the application from becoming unresponsive when running operations that take very long periods of time. It offers the opportunity to interrupt the operation.

If you want to wait for the entire operation to finish, you have to press Yes and confirm each time the dialog appears. And you are right that the operation is paused while the dialog is visible. This is a bit cumbersome when you really want to wait for the operation to finish.

We already have an improvement logged on our issue tracking tool to allow the operation to continue until the end(add a Yes, until finished button in that dialog). I've added your vote for this.
