text-align : justify ?
Hi,
I've seen another topic with multiple requests that include mine.
But, I prefere creating a new one in order to know if something is scheduled especially for it.
Do you plan to add the CSS :
?
According to this link, you don't support it.
I'm trying Oxygen and I'm expected to give my advice about it. It is a functionnality which may weigh in the balance... especially if I know if it has been scheduled for the next version or not.
Why don't you support this property ?
Is it a technical or a political issue ?
Thank you for your answers.
Vincent.

Re: text-align : justify ?
Hi Vincent,
The fact that we don't support the value justify of the text-align CSS property means that the text is not rendered as justified in the Author mode, but when you transform the documents the property is taken into account and it is applied on the output (if the transformation engine supports it). You can use this property in your CSS documents, the built-in oXygen CSS Validator will not report an error.
Can you please tell us if it's important for you that the text to be rendered as justified in Author mode, during the editing, or just in the final (published) document?
Best regards,
Mihaela

Re: text-align : justify ?
Thank you Mihaela,
Indeed, I need the text to be rendered as justified in the author mode.
Can you confirm that this feature will appear one day?
Unless this is due to a real technical issue that prevents this feature to be include before a long time...

Re: text-align : justify ?
Hello Vincent,
Unfortunately we have no plans on the short-term to support this feature.
We have added your request in our internal issue tracker and we will notify you when the justified rendering of the text in Author mode will be available.
Best regards,
Mihaela
