Compare directories between XML databases

Thanks for the improvements to the Remote Documents dialog - it's now much easier to switch between databases.

Would it be possible to add WebDAV directories to the Compare Directories tool? This would provide a powerful mechanism for managing XML databases. I use eXist-db and have several installations - a local one for testing and then a number of "live" installations.

The various installations are different, so staying in sync is not as simple as backing-up and restoring. The Compare Directories tool would make it easy to keep things updated, and would also provide a simple mechanism for copying content between installations.

Thank you for the feedback.

It is possible to implement this, but it does have some difficulty to it, especially the synchronization part(copying, deleting files). The tool was originally designed to work only on the file system so a lot of its functionality has to be reworked.

I've added a feature request to our issue tracking tool. This will be analyzed and implemented in a future version of Oxygen(in the long term).
