UTF-8

Hi all,

I'm using oxygen xml 5 version on linux and i have a little problem with the UTF.
If i type a letter as Ã« it is shown as a little square and i can't get it ok.

Is there a way to prevent this? (In all my other applications the letters do show correct.)

Hi,

This is not an encoding problem, the encoding appears only when a file is loaded or saved.
It seems to be a font problem. Please make sure you set a font in oXygen that is capable of rendering your characters.

Ok thank you,

I haven't found a font yet that works (and Arial nor times is listed although my X knows them) i'm looking how i can get java to recognize my X fonts
