Print selected text?

Hi. Is there a way to print just the selected text to your printer? If not, can we please consider this an enhancement request?

Hello,

Currently(v12.1) Oxygen does not have this feature. Have you seen this feature in another application?

For what editing mode(Text, Author, Design) would you want this feature?

Yes, I've seen this in other editors and/or word processors and find it very useful. I would like it available in text mode, please.

I've added a feature request for this on our issue tracking tool. It will be analyzed and if found appropriate it will be implemented in a future version of Oxygen. In my opinion this has better chances of being implemented as an Oxygen plugin.


Please note that it's rather simple to manually do this even now:
1. If you already have a selection just Copy to clipboard(CTRL+C).
2. Create a new file, File -> New(CTRL+N).
3. Paste the copied content(CTRL+V)
4. Print(CTRL+P).
