default xproc engine doesn't show up in preferences

Post by bwagner »

Default xproc engine doesn't show up in preferences as claimed here:
http://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/ug-oxygen/ ... gines.html
Using <oXygen/> XML Editor 12.1, build 2011011116

The list is simply empty.

Can the configuration be downloaded somewhere?

Thanks

Hello,

I realize that the screenshots could be misleading since they show Calabash defined there, but they are just meant to show an example of how an external XProc engine can be configured in Oxygen. Calabash is bundled and already pre-configured in Oxygen so it would be redundant to have it listed there.

Open an .xpl file in Oxygen(e.g. samples/xproc/personal.xpl), configure a transformation scenario(Document -> Transformation -> Configure Transformation Scenario, New/Edit) and you will find Calabash XProc in the Processor combo box.

Thank you, Adrian.

I'd like to use the latest calabash (0.9.32 as of now). How can I define this as the default xproc engine?

I've set up my own calabash engine (0.9.32) in oXygen (following http://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/ug-oxygen/ ... gines.html), but I don't see how to access Options/Parameters defined in a Transformation Scenario from there. I'd expected to have those available via built-in editor variables.

Thanks,
Bernhard

Calabash 0.9.32 is already included in the latest build of Oxygen 12.1 (2011031114) available on our site:
http://www.oxygenxml.com/download_oxygenxml_editor.html
One solution is to download and install this build.

Alternatively if you want to keep your current Oxygen installation, you can simply update the Calabash jar(s) from <Oxygen>/lib/xproc/calabash.
This should work very well for minor version updates of Calabash(e.g. from 0.9.30 to 0.9.32).
