DITA Webhelp search and namespace prefixes

Hi - If I have a namespace prefixed element name in my DITA, it appears that the search functionality within the webhelp output cannot match on that element name.

For example "... blah blah xsl:text blah blah ..."

If I search for "xsl:text" (without quotes) the search comes up empty. If I search "xsl", I get a hit, and "text" also hits. I assume the search feature is tripping up on the colon.

Is this a known limitation? Working as intended? Or is there something I could do on my end to enable this type of search?

Hi,

The Indexer which generated the search keywords tries to split the phrases into words based on punctuation characters like ":", ".", etc.
Unfortunately there is no parameter which can be used to control this.
We'll try to see if we can accommodate your request in a future version of Oxygen.
