JAI installation - see doc on "How to Add ..."

The Sun java site offers 12 versions of the JAI code - for Windows, Linux, Sun Sparc and Sun X86; JDK, JRE, and CLASSPATH for each case.

The size of the downloads varies from 2.5 MB for Linux to 18 MB for Soalaris.

Which do I need for MacOS X (10.2.8 or 10.3.5 - I'm in the process of moving to 10.3.5)

We used JAI succesfully on MacOS X 10.3.5 (PowerPC G3 and G4) with PNG and TIFF images by downloading the package from http://wsidecar.apple.com/cgi-bin/nph-r ... nd_JAI.dmg. All you have to do is install this package and run the oXygen transformation.
