Sandcastle / MAML with <oXygen/>?
Hi there!
Our company thinks about using Microsoft Sandcastle and MAML as a documentation chain for software documentation.
Has anybody tried using <oXygen/> as authoring tool for the conceptual part or even for the publishing? Or have you guys considered integrating it like DocBook or DITA?
Thanks and greetings
Faros

Dear Faros,
Well, I added your suggestion to provide a built-in framework for editing MAML as an improvement request.
If you want we can guide you to construct such a framework yourself.
You would basically need the MAML schemas, a catalog file, some new file templates and a CSS file to render MAML files in the Oxygen Author page.
For example the Docbook editing framework resides in:
OXYGEN_INSTALL_DIR\frameworks\docbook
The framework directory contains ".framework" files which are configured in the Oxygen Preferences->"Document Type Association" page.

Dear Radu,
thank you very much for your quick reply and your help offer. I will add this to my conceptual paper and will get back to you if a decision is made into this direction.
In the meantime: Keep up the good work and service level!
