Lost my framework!
I updated to the new version (11) recently, and didn't think ahead to the fact that my custom DTD, CSS and Schema were stored in the frameworks folder which was overwritten. Is it possible to store these in the "Application Support" or somewhere in the library so this doesn't happen?
I have now tried to create an external framework, but the dialog box won't let me store it outside of the application/oxygen/frameworks folder.

Re: Lost my framework!
Hello,
If you have modified files from one of the default Oxygen frameworks then I'm afraid the modifications are lost now as a result of the uninstall/upgrade procedure. If you have added new files to the frameworks folder then they are preserved even after uninstalling.
It is generally a good idea to duplicate a default framework and only make modifications to the duplicate. This way you can be sure that it will not be overwritten or deleted when migrating.
Added frameworks will not be deleted when the application is uninstalled/upgraded.
Regards,
Adrian
Edit:
You can actually configure Oxygen to use a completely different folder for the frameworks, but you will have to manually copy all the needed frameworks to that location. You can set this option in Options -> Preferences -> Global. Enable the Use custom frameworks (Document Type Associations) directory option and in the Frameworks directory field browse for the desired folder.
