Can't change chm name "DITA Topic Map"
Post by javamaster1 »
When I transform my .ditamap file, no matter how I change the file name, the resulting .chm always opens as "DITA Topic Map".
How do I change this "DITA Topic Map"title to something else?

Hi,
The title set in the transformed DITA Map determines the title of the CHM output.
The navigation title is an attribute set on the DITA Map root like:
By default newly created DITA Maps in Oxygen have the title DITA Topic Map (which appears in the DITA Maps Manager view) but that can be changed either by right clicking in the DITA Maps Manager view the root element and choosing Edit Properties or by opening the DITA Map in the main editing area and editing its title attribute there.

Hi Radu,
Thank you for your reply, but I have tried both methods and the map title shows my chosen title, yet the .chm file still says "DITA Topic Map" at the top. Is it because I'm using Mac?

Re: Can't change chm name "DITA Topic Map"
Hi,
Try to delete the entire output directory before publishing the DITA Map to CHM. Maybe the CHM file is not getting overwritten.
You can also send us a sample DITA project to our support email address and we can investigate further:
