Oxygen 11.2 Standalone Folding

Hi,

I somehow managed to disable the folding feature. Regardless which xml document I open, the arrows to open/close folds are not displayed.

I guess I changed my preferences in some way, but I cannot find out what I need to change.

I searched the forum and found some threads, but none helped me.

Any idea?

Hello,

Maybe you have activated 'Line wrap' an option that disables folding or maybe you simply removed the fold bar.
You can find both these options in Options -> Preferences -> Editor -> Pages -> Text, 'Line wrap (disables folding)' and 'Show fold bar'

Also, there is another case in which line wrap is automatically triggered(and folding gets disabled) when a document has a line that exceeds a specified number of characters(default is 15000).
You can check these options in Options -> Preferences -> Editor -> Open/Save. If the "Always line wrap" option is selected then the document will be automatically be wrapped if it exceeds the longest line amount specified in the field above.
