ClassNotFoundExceptions on Snow Leopard

Post by BlackFrancis »

I'm using Oxygen 8.2 on Snow Leopard 10.6.3.
Console reports a bunch of ClassNotFoundExceptions, including:
apple.laf.CUIAquaKeyBindings
apple.laf.CUIAquaLookAndFeel

Is there a fix for this? Or do I have to upgrade to a later version?

Hello,

Unfortunately Oxygen 8.2 isn't supported in Snow Leopard. Apple made significant changes to the Java VM that broke the backwards compatibility.

Snow Leopard is supported in Oxygen 9.3 or later so I'm afraid you need to upgrade. But, if you have purchased Oxygen v8.x with a maintenance pack then you may be entitled to a free upgrade to v9. Please contact us to support@oxygenxml.com and provide the purchase information(name and company or email address) so we can verify this.
