Oxy 11.0 pop-up box when cursor is inside tag brackets

Post by EAD_Glenn »

We were just upgraded to Oxygen 11.0 at our institution, and several of us notice that when our cursor lies inside of a coded tag bracket, a context-sensitive pop-up box appears with the tag name.

For example, while in Oxygen text view, I'll wander my cursor over the EAD <publicationstmt> tag and a rectangle will pop up with the words "Publication Statement."

How do we toggle it off? It is driving some of us batty since the boxes keep popping up while we're coding.

Hello,

The annotations tooltip can be disabled from Options -> Preferences -> Editor -> Content Completion -> Annotations, Show annotations as tooltip.

Let me know if you need further assistance.

Regards,

Thank you! Worked perfectly, and I have sent an email around to my co-workers so they know how to do that as well. Much appreciated!
