Author mode - disallow of writing text everywhere

Hello,

at present is quite easy to produce invalid document as there is not any mechanism how to prevent to write text everywhere. For example just into section element before title element in docbook document. I am also not very enjoyed that it is possible to insert multiple spaces in non 'preserve-spacing' content so there is risk of unwanted gaps. Any solution of this is welcomed.

We fixed the problem in Author mode for the next version of Oxygen. You will not be allowed to insert text where it is not allowed in the Author document. We can give you a download URL for a build of Oxygen for testing that feature if you contact us via the Technical Support page.

This sounds great! Do you have a rough idea when a new version with this feature will be released?

The new version will be released in about a month. You can test the beta version to see if it restricts correctly entering text in a DocBook document where the schema does not allow the text.
