I would like to request an option to print line numbers when printing an XML file.

I was unsure whether to make this a separate post or not.

I would like the printing to be enhanced with a number of features (and not just line numbers).

1. Printer settings stored. Not have to be re-enter margin settings each time I want to print.

2. Separate font for printing (separate setting to screen/editor font).

4. Simplify printing. Ideally by:
- Just print with last print settings (no dialog).
- Print (one dialog) choosing a) portrait/landscape b) page size eg. A4/A3
- Print setup as separate dialog on separate menu entry.

These details should be done by the printer driver that you install on the computer for accessing the printer in the operating system. For some printers they are implemented. We will have to look if it can be done in Java code executed in the Java virtual machine (without native code).

We will consider that.

Thank you for the feedback.

Unfortunately this has not been implemented yet(v13.2).
This feature request was merged with a few others that requested to print all the details from the editor(folding, error highlights, etc). This merged issue requires a major overhaul of the printing mechanism from Oxygen. This means a significant effort is necessary to implement it. As a result it has been evaluated and postponed repeatedly.

I'll split this specific request(line numbers when printing) from the rest and we will attempt to implement it separately.
