Could it be possible to add a feature where files could be dragged into the map in Maps Manager and that would add a topicref element in the map.
Use case:

Use case:
- User has both Project and DITA Maps Manager views open
- User drags a file into the map in the Maps Manager
- A new topicref is created, with a relative URL as the href attribute.

Hi Jarno,
We already have this done in the current development stream.
So if you drop files (from Project or Windows explorer) in the DITA Maps manager tree they will be linked as topic references. If you drop them on the toolbar they will be opened.
We can give you a beta to test this.
