opening css file

Post by bmbdesign »

I have created a css file in Oxygen that holds all our commonly used tags so that my workers can copy and paste instead of retyping all the tags. Three of us can open it fine, the fourth person gets an error message: "Unknown archive format or corrupted archive". Is there a preference somewhere we need to re-set so that she can open the css files? .epub files are opening just fine, this is only happening when she tries to open the css file I created in Oxygen.

Hello,

Please make sure you do not have the .css file extension associated with ZIP archives or JAR archives in the option Archive types which you access from menu Options -> Preferences -> Archive. I can reproduce this error message only if I have css associated with an archive type in the option Archive types. Such an association forces handling CSS files as ZIP archives which is obviously not possible because a CSS stylesheet does not have the file format of a ZIP archive.
