Customizing Author view display of DITA <ph> element.

Post by stevetraut »

Hi there. Is there a way to change how the Author view displays referred content rendered from a <ph conref> element? It currently displays the content in a gray box in its own block. I don't mind the gray box, but I'd like the content to be displayed inline when it's inside another block.

I'm using the DITA <ph> element as a variable for product and feature names, maintaining the referred content in a separate topic.

Thanks,
Steve

Hi Steve,

There is a similar post for which I recommanded a CSS customization that you might find useful.
See http://www.oxygenxml.com/forum/post1100 ... ine#p11009

You basically have to do some modifications to the CSS file (OXYGEN_INSTALL_DIR/frameworks/dita/css_classed/dita.css) used for DITA topics styling and overwrite our own styles with yours.

Outstanding -- works nicely. I'd tried tinkering with topic.css but couldn't get it to appear inline. Thanks, Radu!
