diffing two DITA XML files inside of oXygen?

I would like to diff two separate DITA XML files in oXygen (and view the differences) and I see some information online and in user manual, but I find it unclear procedurally on how to do this. Can someone briefly how one does this or to a good resource on how to do this?

Hi John,

From the Oxygen Tools menu open the "Compare Files" tool and use it on the files you want to compare.
You can press F1 in the "Compare Files" tool to see the help entry for it.

There are also some options controlling the Comparison process in the Oxygen Options->Preferences->Diff page.

We also have a separate chapter in our Help dialog "Comparing and merging documents" which you may find useful.
