Suspected memory leaks on MacOS X
Mac OS 10.2.8 server on a G4 server with 1.25 GB memory
I have 768 MB memory allocated in oxygenmac.sh:
CP=$p/classes:$p:$p/oxygen.app/Contents/Resources/Java/oxygen.jar
java "-Xdock:name=Oxygen" -Xmx768m-Dcom.oxygenxml.MultipleInstances=true -cp $CP ro.sync.exml.Oxygen $1 $2 $3 $4 $5 $6 $7 $8 $9
Has anyone else noted this problem?
I have very often had transformations fail 'out of memory' after I've been working some time on files included in the one I transform - even after I close all files and all other applications before transforming. If I close oxygen, re-start and open the file again it transforms fine.
I've checked that nothing else is taking up memory by closing everything down - it's in Oxygen.
Also, with a lot of files open, working on one of them slows down to the point of unusability. Just closing files doesn't help - again, close down and re-start gets rid of the problem.
Has anyone else noted this problem?
You can bet it's not a memory leak in BSD Unix!
