Table separator in Author mode

Hi,

I hope this is the right section of the forum to post this.
Almost every document i work with has tables. I use the CALS-standard to create my tables. In order to let other work with it easily, i have to show tables correctly in author-mode.
So here are a few of my questions: How can i make rowsep en colsep visual in the author-mode? And how can i see the correct width i assign to the colspec in the author-mode (The width isn't correct in my view)?

Dear Glen,

We already provide CALS support for DITA and Docbook tables.

If you have your own XML format and you know Java you can create your own framework for your XML files in which you can implement CALS support.
