Link toolbar action group

The Link toolbar action group has gone missing from my toolbar. I've gone into the Document Type dialog and can see the icon in the menu and contextual menu tabs. I can add the individual link types to the toolbar but not under the action group dropdown i was used to. How to fix please?

Hi James,

What Oxygen version are you using? What document type are you using to edit XML? (Docbook 4, 5, DITA, TEI, etc)?
Did you make any modifications to it?

Hi R. Docbook4. We recently upgraded to 12.2 from 12.1. I can't remember if it was missing from the word go. I did incidentally add a custom 'add linebreak' action, though i can't see that having affected it.

Hi James,

The Link action group should be present in a regular Oxygen 12.2 installation when editing Docbook 4 XMLs.
You probably have the Docbook 4 Document Type customized in some way.
Did you have a customization of the Docbook 4 framework which you ported from Oxygen 12.1 to Oxygen 12.2?

The only customisation I had was the linebreak function I added to the toolbar in 12.1. The action group was always there. Upgraded to 12.2 and had to redo the linebreak which got lost in the upgrade. Nothing else intentionally changed.

If you edit the Docbook 4 document type from the Oxygen Document Type Association preferences page is the action group should be present in the Toolbar section like:



Maybe you removed it by mistake.
The link actions should also be present in the main Docbook 4 menu->Link submenu. Are they there in your case?

To put us both out of our misery I've reinstalled oxygen 12.2. The action group is backand i've recreated the linebreak ok. So prob solved but I'd like to have known how to do it in less extreme manner.
