Can the result of an XSLT be saved to the eXist database?
Hello,
I've got a working connection to an eXist db (V1.2.6), and i can successfully load & save files from it. The only thing i haven't been able to figure out how to do is save the result of an XSL transform to the db - when i enter a oxygen URL in Edit Scenario > Output tab > Save As (for example, "oxygen:/eXist$eXist%20Standalone/db/alyx/apps/yearmap/yearmap.svg") and execute the transform, i get an error as oXygen tries to save its local temp file to the db. Is this possible to do, and if so, how?
Thanks,
--alex.

Hello,
it is not possible to save the result of an XSL transform in a database. We will consider allowing any URL as output of the transformation. That will allow writing the XSL result in an eXist database.
Regards,
Sorin

Hi, only 14 years later, but I still stumble across the same problem. Is there a solution to that? Want to output directly in my eXist-db, but getting the same result whatever I do: "can't copy to ..."
Kind regards
Kind regards

Hello Oliver,
We do not offer support to save the output directly in the eXist DB.
