[XML Catalog] automatic removal behavior

Post by Tanking »

Hi,

I have been encountering a strange behavior with the XML Catalog.

If ever a catalog declared through the oxygen preference (and by there written in the oxyOptionsSa10.1.xml) is not found once, it is delete from the configuration... Shouldn't it be just ignored, or raising a simple warning "File not found", instead of a silent removal?

Also, do you have a simple list of the incoming fixes/additional features (in the next version or not even) and an ETA of the next version of Oxygen (i.e.: v10.2)? This would be useful for projects and their road maps (do we fix ourselves VS it going to be corrected)

Hello,

Yes, a warning message should be displayed and the path of the catalog should not be removed from the list of XML catalogs. We will fix the problem probably in version 10.3 because version 10.2 is in testing phase. That means version 10.2 will be released in about two weeks.

The list of features will be published at the official release. Is there a fix or a feature that you want to know if we add it in version 10.2 or when it will be added?

Regards,
Sorin
