merging DITAMAPs
I want to take two separate DITAMAPS, merge them, and then edit the resulting DITAMAP. Is there an easy way to simply append one DITAMAP into another and then work with it in the DITA Maps Manager?
thanks,
John

Re: merging DITAMAPs
Hi John,
Here are some steps:
First, open both maps to merge in the "DITA Maps Manager".
Create a new DITA Map for the merged maps and save it.
Then, if the DITA Maps to merge are saved in a different directory than the destination merged MAP, select File->Save As and save them in the same directory as the merged one.
Then select from each map the desired topic references, Copy (Edit->Copy or the default shortcut) and then Paste them into the merged map.

Radu
