selecting tag content in Outline?
Hi --
I'm new to Oxygen (version 7.2). I know I can select a tag _and_ its content by clicking on the tag in the outline, but is there a setting to allow you to only grab the contents when clicking on a specific tag? For instance, if you wanted to quickly copy and paste the content of a particular "field" from each of a set of records -- you don't need the tags just the content and selecting each by click-dragging between the tags is tedious and error-prone.
Thanks for any clues.

Hello,
There are a few possibilities to select the content of an element.
One is to triple click immediately after the start tag and you will get its content selected.
Another way is to use the Select Content action. In the editor, from the contextual menu (right click on Windows, CTRL+Click on Mac) choose Select->Select Content. You can also define a shortcut to this action in Options->Preferences -- Menu Shortcut Keys -- Select Content so you can easily invoke it with your desired key combination.
Regards,
George

Thanks, George. Your suggestions save a lot of clicking and dragging. Sounds like I should submit a feature request, if I want it to be any easier than that. One of the first things I do when evaluating software (I'm a software junkie) is to look at the number of preferences (the more the better). Oxygen certainly allows for a lot of personalization. Thanks again.
