Possible to regroup 2 ditamaps ?
Hello,
I had a question about the possibility of regroup 2 maps.
My dita project is composed of fr and en version and we have 2 separate maps for each language but.. We would like to push online with only one generation.. Is that something possible or ?.. I have found no solution for the moment.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Jeremy

Hi Jeremy,
How exactly are you publishing right now? Using Oxygen? Maybe you could create an automatic script which publishes the documentation for both DITA Maps, either sequentially or in parallel and then uploads it to the online HTTP server.
You could also maybe create another top level DITA Map which refers to both maps and publish that but I would incline towards my first recommendation.
Maybe in the header of all the generated HTML pages you can add an HTML combo box which allows the end user to switch the language. The switch action goes to some PHP script which redirects the current page to the similar page having the language specified by the end user.
