Error with Image Map Editor feature

Hi,

I have just upgraded to Oxygen 18 only for this awesome image map editor feature. I am following all the steps mentioned here: https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/ ... -dita.html, but moment I click OK, to create image map for my image, I get the following error:

Could not create AuthorDocumentFragment. Cause: Attributename “null” associated with an element type “imagemap” must be followed by the “ = “ character.

Please help, I am not understanding why this error message keeps displaying every time I try the feature.

Hi,

What type of XML documents are you editing? Docbook, DITA, XHTML?
Could you try to create a small sample project (XML + image) to reproduce the problem and attach it to an email (support@oxygenxml.com)?

Just to update this thread for others as I continue my discussion with Namita via email:

Namita uses a DITA specialization and there was an early version of Oxygen 18.0 which had this problem when editing image maps with DITA specializations. But the latest Oxygen 18.0 and 18.1 kits should no longer have this problem.
