DITA Maps Manager Auto Hide (18.0)

I have recently upgraded to v18.0 and have noticed that the Auto Hide feature for the DITA Maps Manager keeps turning itself off. I right-click and select Auto Hide and the tab hides as it should. If I then switch to another map in the editor, or open one from the Project tab, the Maps Manager gets focus and turns Auto Hide off. This happens every time a different map is selected.

Hello,

Someone made a feature request to turn Auto Hide off when opening a DITA Map, so it was implemented this way in v18.0 as the default behavior. I do not see a way to turn this off.
I've logged an issue to investigate and either fix or make this behavior optional.

The latest Oxygen 18.0 minor bug fix release kit available on our web site should contain a fix for this problem.
