Can't locate DITA Open Toolkit (for Oxygen 15.1)
Hi,
I am trying to create a Word to DITA transformation, and I was looking at this step,
http://dita4publishers.sourceforge.net/ ... tml#taskId
to get started, but I can't seem to locate my Open Toolkit directory.
I have Oxygen 15.1 installed.
I have tried copying my Word content directly into a new DITA topic, but the code samples (originally created in Word text boxes) go out of alignment, and I'm wasting a lot of time backspacing, etc. to reformat the code.
Thank you in advance -

Hi,
The DITA OT distribution bundled with Oxygen is located in the folder:
OXYGEN_INSTALL_DIR\frameworks\dita\DITA-OT
but you can also use an external DITA OT installation with Oxygen 15.1 by modifying the transformation scenario and setting the dita.dir parameter to point to the external DITA OT installation.

About this remark:
Indeed Oxygen has this support of converting pasted word content to DITA. If you can share a Word document with us (support@oxygenxml.com), we could try to improve our support. Also you are using an older Oxygen version, maybe newer Oxygen versions have improved this aspect...I have tried copying my Word content directly into a new DITA topic, but the code samples (originally created in Word text boxes) go out of alignment, and I'm wasting a lot of time backspacing, etc. to reformat the code.
