64-bit or 32-bit?
Hello,
We're starting to use oXygen more widely, and we've been asked which bit version is recommended for a 64-bit OS.
I couldn't really work it out from the site:
http://www.oxygenxml.com/download_oxygenxml_author.html
It seems to be saying we should use 32-bit oXygen on a 64-bit system, unless "you have plenty of RAM, work with very large files and need the ability to use the extra memory."
Is that the correct interpretation? I'm a bit confused because higher up on the same page, it says:
"You may encounter difficulties using some third-party database drivers/plugins with native libraries that do not support the 64-bit architecture. If you do, you should install and use the Windows 32-bit kit of oXygen."
A definitive recommendation one way or the other would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Eddie.

Hello,
If you have 4GB or more of physical memory and a 64-bit operating system, we recommend the 64-bit edition of Oxygen. This edition is also recommend for working with large files and/or complex hierarchies of files.
The note you have indicated:

The note you have indicated:
is applicable for old databases that only have a 32-bit implementation of the native libraries/driver.You may encounter difficulties using some third-party database drivers/plugins with native libraries that do not support the 64-bit architecture. If you do, you should install and use the Windows 32-bit kit of oXygen.
