Remove yellow highlights during searches

How do I remove yellow highlights that display during searches?

Hi jonathanm,

There is a dedicated button in the WebHelp output which does exactly that.
It can "toggle search highlights" and has a highlighter-like icon. Please see the screenshot below:

Sorry, let me clarify my question. Can remove the yellow highlighting all together?

Could you please provide us more details why do you want to discard the highlights? If you want to drop out the highlights please provide us also more information about your use-case.

I think it may confuse distract and confuse users. I also noticed that it's not apparent where to click to take you to the guide itself, as nothing looks like a live link.

Note that the highlight feature cannot be removed.
I have added an issue on our internal issue tracker to be further analyzed by our development team.
