Oxygen XML Author 24 and MacOS 12 (Monterey)
Post by cantonadiangirl »
Hi,
I am currently still using MacOS Catalina and wondering if Oxygen XML Author 24 has been fully tested with MacOS 12 yet or if there are any features that do not work properly with MacOS 12? I have held off on updating my OS.
Thanks in advance.

In case some else searches the forum regarding the macOS support for older versions of Oxygen, note that:The product has been fully tested on macOS 10.15 (Catalina), 11 (Big Sur) and 12 (Monterey). The latest version of Oxygen might work on older versions of macOS, but they have not been officially tested.
- v24.0 and later are the only versions compatible that officially support macOS 12 Monterey.
- v23.0 and later are the only versions compatible that officially support macOS 11 Big Sur. They do work fine on macOS Monterey though.
- v22.1 build 2020121713 is compatible with macOS Big Sur. This latest build has been patched to work on macOS Big Sur. It also works fine on macOS Monterey. Earlier builds/versions of v22.1 from before December 2020 (202012) are not not fully compatible.
- v22.0, v21.1 build 2019101513, v20.1 and v19.1 build 2019120217 are the oldest versions/builds compatible with macOS 10.15 Catalina. They do start on macOS Big Sur and Monterey, but are NOT fully compatible and are known to have issues. For example deleting files in the Project view will not work and the macOS option "Prefer tabs" (Preferences -> General) needs to be set to "never" to avoid lockups. We do not provide support for these versions running on macOS Big Sur or later.
- v21.0, v20.0, v19.0 and older of Oxygen are NOT compatible with macOS 10.15 Catalina and later and are unlikely to work. We do not provide support for these versions running on macOS Catalina or later.
