New to XML Editing want to edit XML file

I am a retailer using Verifone POS system. The POS creates xml file for PLU (product barcodes) I have spreadsheet of all products in excel that needs to be converted or appended to the file from POS. I tried using excel to edit but when I try to upload the file it reports error.

Will this program let me edit and save in format to upload to POS system?

We are not familiar with the standards you are working with.
Oxygen is a generic XML editing tool. So if you want to edit or create XML documents, you can use Oxygen for it.
You can get an Oxygen trial license and see if it can help. If you have specific questions during the evaluation we can try to help with advice.
