Basic Use Case - Intro
Hi I'm a new user with two very simple use cases,
1. View XML File as a tree
2. Compare two XML files
I've searched the forum for both and there are simply too many results, I'm just not sure what keywords to use to find the correct answers. If anyone can confirm that these two features do exist in the software that would be reassuring, a brief step by step would be even better!
I've done WSDL, SOAP, I feel comfortable programming in various languages, so far I really don't like the GUI of oXygen but I'm hoping someone can change my mind. I'll put specific feedback about the GUI somewhere else if I decide to use this software.

Hi,
You can see the XML file structure in a tree way mode using the Outline view from oXygen (Window > Show view > Outline):
Outline view in Text Mode
Another way to see the content of a document displayed as an XML tree is using Tree Editor (Tools > Tree Editor):
Tree Editor
Regarding XML files comparison you can use the Diff Files to achieve this (Tools > Compare Files):
Compare Files
I hope these help.
Regards,
Ionela
