Inline elements line breaks
I am very new to oXygen and can't solve one thing now (in spite of the fact I have tried checking and unchecking all those interesting boxes):
This one line:
… breaks into this:
This one:
… remains intact.
I am trying to figure out the best possible settings for preparing my files for importing into InDesign. I need to keep lines together. At this moment nothing helps, I have unchecked all boxes in Prefs. > Format > XML but it is still the same. I need only smart removing of empty lines, no more. No indenting, no breaking lines in cases of inline elements.
Thanks in advance.
This one line:
Code: Select all
<p><b>Chapter begins here</b></p>
Code: Select all
<p>
<b>Chapter begins here</b>
</p>
Code: Select all
<p>The line which is ok (<b>jaká bude výstupní kontrola</b>, the preferred one</p>

Hello,
You can try adding the elements inside which you do not want additional line breaks to be added to the Mixed content list. The elements from this list are treated as mixed when applying the Format and Indent operation. The main point being that the lines are split only when whitespaces are encountered. You can find this list in the Editor / Format / XML option page.
Best regards,
Iulian
