Reformat current element content keybinding?

Hi,

Trying to use oxygen to edit DocBook documents and I want to be able to re-format the text within the current enclosing element (para, etc.). Can't find any way of doing that without reformatting the entire document.

It would be very convenient if a keybinding could be setup to just reformat (and re-indent) all of the stuff within the current element.

Hi,

If you are using the standalone version you may try the indent selection action. It is available on the contextual menu and it has a CTRL+I shortcut.

Thanks for the reply.

The Ctrl+I shortcut doesn't help much because:

1. it only re-indents the selection and does not reformat the text (break long lines, remove extra spaces).

2. You have to use the mouse to select the current element and it's contents before it can be indented.

What I would like is a key combination that indents and reformats the contents of the element that encloses the cursor without having to use the mouse at all (obviously, it could be a menu command which is bound to a key combination).

Hi,

I added a bugzilla entry with this. It sounds like a really nice to have feature as it adds clear advantages even in the invisible part the undo will require a lot less memory for that compared with a full document format and indent action).
