Syntax Highlighting and File Extensions

Is there a way to add or alter the mapping between file extensions and a given method of syntax highlighting? Files ending in .pl have the Perl highlighting applied correctly, but I'd like to use the same colors for files ending .cgi and .pm as well. The interface doesn't present a way to do this (or if it does I didn't see it), is there another way?

At this time, there is no possibility to alter the extension mapping. However, we are considering adding this to a new release, probably 2.0.2.
