Editing HTML in Oxygen
Post by lisa@rtfm.com »
I've taken to editing HTML files in Oxygen, as well as XML files, for the same reason I got Oxygen in the first place -- colour coding and an editor that didn't munge plain text into rich text (a problem on the Mac). For me the next most valuable features would be a built-in schema to validate HTML documents against. I don't expect or want WYSIWIG editing or even a way to view the document -- I do that in the browser anyway.
Hi Lisa,
You may consider XHTML instead of HTML.
As XHTML is XML oXygen has support for it. There are DTDs you can use to validate your document, a sample in the samples/xhtml from the sample project that come with oXygen and also XHTML document templates:

George
