Folder-specific option settings in a project
Hi,
I'm currently working on a project for transforming XML files from one dtd into another and vice-versa. To be able to use the dtd-based auto completen for both ways, it would be absolutely cool, if I could set the auto complete options for various stylesheet-folders in my project differently.
Would that be possible?
best regards,
Roman

Re: Folder-specific option settings in a project
Hi Roman,
No, exactly that is not possible, however, there are a couple of other possibilities.
You can set the Options->Preferences -- Editor / Content Completion / XSL options at project level by selecting the "Project Options" option in the bottom of the preferences page. Then you can have two projects, each with the above options page set at project level and you can specify the two DTDs, one for each project. In order to quickly switch between the projects you can add the other project .xpr file in each project structure so you can double click on that to open it.
Another possibility is to get a DTD that merges both your DTDs and use that. Or, convert the 2 DTDs to Relax NG and create a schema that says its start is an external ref to the first schema or an external ref to the second schema and use that Relax NG schema.
We will consider supporting a PI inside the stylesheet that can point to a DTD or schema to be used for content completion proposals.
Yet another improvement will be to try to use the result DTD info from xsl:output, if specified, to offer content completion.
Best Regards,
George
