GTK Look and Feel?

Post by tim »

While we're at it, is it possible to enable GTK Look and Feel on Linux. Version 1.4.2+ includes a themable look and feel for GTK (i.e. under Gnome).

According to Sun, It will not show up in the list of available L&Fs. You are supposed to be able to set it as a the default L&F using a system property, but I couldn't get that to work in Oxygen. (It did work with SwingSet).

Any ideas?

Thanks,
tim

GTK Look and Feel

I'd already tried that. For whatever reason it didn't work.

I was able to get it to work by specifying the property in the options file in my home directory.

Good enough for me ;)
