Updates to JSON support?
Post by davidmichaelkarr »
I know that this the "Oxygen XML" editor, but it should be acknowledged that JSON has an equal role to XML, and often larger in many cases. This should be obvious by now. I see that Oxygen certainly supports JSON, but there are some aspects that seem like they could use an update.
While editing a JSON file, I would have assumed that I could directly access a "generate schema" option from the context menu. Instead, I have to go up to the tools menu, and then navigate through a couple menus to land on "Generate JSON Schema...". This dialog then requires me to enter the absolute path to the JSON document in question, when I just wanted to use the one I was editing.
