Format and Indent Selection

Post by jawalsh »

I would like and feature that would allow me to "format and indent" any well-formed selection of text. I have long documents, parts of which I want manually formatted and parts of which I would like automatically formatted. Can this be done. The "format and indent element" doesn't really work for this purpose.

Hello,

You should except the elements that you want to format manually by adding them to the Preserve space elements list or by adding the xml:space="preserve" attribute to each of them before applying the Format and Indent action on the whole document to format it automatically. Can you give more details about how you would like the Format and Indent Element action to work?

Both solutions you suggest will work for me. I don't need anything else. Thanks for the help.
