Automated glossary?
Hi,
Are there any plans to develop automation of glossaries, dependent on terms used in a DITA Map?
I have in mind what davdup asked here: post54151.html?hilit=glossary#p54097
It would be really useful to have a single DITA Map containing all the glossentry topics and refer to them as required in the abbreviated form using a key, without adding the glossentry topics to every DITAMAP they are used. Ideally, only the glossary terms referred to in each DITA Map would be shown together in the PDF output. So far I haven't been able to find a suitable solution which doesn't require a reasonable amount of manual work for each DITA Map, to keep the referenced terms accurately reflecting the glossary terms at the end of the document.
Thanks.

Re: Automated glossary?
Hi,
I will add an internal issue to find some time and look into this. If we do implement it, it will work only for our DITA to PDF using CSS output.
I do not have a workaround for you right now besides the links to presentations in which Eliot Kimber touched on this aspect:
