Bug: Text Selection for Cyrillic with Combining Diacritics i

Hi.

I am running oXygen 16 on OS X 10.9.3. In Editor Mode, both Latin and Cyrillic strings with combining diacritic marks get correctly selected on double-click:

città гра̑д баи́рче балаба́н

In Author View, however, only the Latin string gets fully selected, whereas in the case of the Cyrillic string, the double click selects only up to the combining diacritic (if the cursor was before it), or only the characters after the diacritic (if the cursor was after it) and never the whole word.



This makes selecting accented Cyrillic strings in Author very cumbersome.

I hope you will be able to fix this in in the future.

Thanks for telling us about this, we'll look into it and maybe come up with a fix in Oxygen 16.1 (autumn of 2014).
